Trash The Dress

Trash The Dress

Over the years I have had the privilege of sending hundreds of honeymooners to Antigua. The island has some of the Caribbean’s most romantic hotels. Blue Waters is tucked into Soldier’s Bay offering a romantic British West Indian style holiday assuring privacy and romance. Galley Bay has a long strand of brown sugar sand and a seaside gazebo perfect for saying “I do”. Carlisle Bay is ultra chic yet oh so romantic with lovely gardens, a quiet little bay for sunning and views of the tranquil countryside. The rooms are designed for privacy and romance. For those who have dreamed of a wedding on Antigua, I have found the perfect photographer for your important day. Vanessa Hall, a young and creative photographer knows her island well. She has discovered some special settings to capture the moments and the mood of your special day. Whether you decide to take traditional beach stills or dare to “trash the dress”, Vanessa knows her art and will create an album with lasting memories. Carlisle Bay Chill Out Sale

April 18, 2009

We had the most lovely day at Carlisle Bay celebrating my Mom’s 85th birthday. Carlisle Bay hosted her birthday tea in their oceanview dining room.  Our table was set with white china and crisp white linen table clothes. We chose from lovely blended specialty teas. The cake and pastries served were sublime. I will always remember this day as will my Mom.

I had an opportunity to visit the property and explore the grounds. I am convinced this is one of Antigua’s top gems. It is my pleasure to offer an incredible sale.

Getting Married In Antigua

January 25, 2009

I have witnessed many lovely weddings on our beautiful island. The romantic settings our island offers are staggering. I think Shirley Heights is perhaps one of the prettiest hillside wedding sites. The views of English Harbour are amazing. Imagine your romantic wedding with stunning views and a delightful steel band playing Caribbean music?  Galley Bay Hotel has a beach side gazebo to hold your nuptials. I have arranged several honeymoon trips. Galley Bay has amazing rooms, a dedicated professional  staff and a perfect setting. I have two room categories I highly recommend. Several restaurants offer the perfect reception. Perhaps my favorite would be Admiral’s Inn, located in Nelson’s Dockyard. It’s quaint, historic and charming. I was married at Blue Waters Hotel. This spot is ultra romantic and very private. Contact me for your wedding and honeymoon details and see  Caribbean Wind & Sun Vacations at  ann@antiguacaribbean.com  for more information.
